Heated seats
I have had two previous BMW's both 335 coupes, a 2007 and a 2011. Both cars had heated seats that got really hot, very quickly. Most time had to keep it on 2 or they got too hot. Just got my 435 and the seats get just warm when set to 3, and it takes a while until this happens. Anyone else with similar findings?

Some people were complaining about that. I thought mine were not as hot as prior models, but they still get hot enough.

Mine will slightly roast me on setting-1. That's sport seats, although I don't know why the difference is seen by us. I just switch down to Eco-mode and the temp setting will decrease output to comfort levels if I'm bothered.

Mine get hot before I am out of the neighborhood, but I know what you're saying. My wife's Q7 has a 6-level setting and I can't have it on 6 for more than a few minutes. Definitely hotter than the Bimmer.

My seat warmers act as intended, and as similar in previous vehicles, or my X3. 3 is very hot, gets hot very fast, within 2 minutes. It's what gets you going.
2 is excellent for sub 15º temperatures at a constant rate, until you've been in the car for 30 minutes. 1 is perfect, for all winter use once the heater kicks on. I'd say yours doesn't work right. |

My F30 heats up much faster than my C350. Heat level is about the same on 3 for each. Merc seats auto reduce the heat after about 20 minutes...haven't seen the BMW ones do that yet, although I haven't driven the car that much.

My M-Sport F30 seats are just as toasty as my '07 E92 335i's were. No discernible difference, and setting 1 is usually perfect for me, although on really cold days, 2 is good until it warms up and then I switch back to 1. I'd burn myself on setting 3, but then I don't live in the snow belt.

The F30 does that too. I personally find the seats to get really hot - I use 3 for about 5-10 minutes, then switch to one or off, depending on outside temperature.
