Asd after software update

Had somebody Who tried coding the m3 sound on my 35d today and it was having none of it. Am I right in thinking that if it's had a recent software update this is now not possible. Sure the dealer said they did a software update when I mentioned the I drive screen had gone blank a couple of times. Car is a 64 plate

If it's a 64 plate though, it won't be LCI ...... They came out on late 15's onwards

Mine is pre lci but had a software update(apparently) Not really sure what the dealer updated as it was only a fault with the I drive screen going blank every now and again.

I believe if they update one module they have to update all of them.

Garage List
Tried this using bimmercode myself

Did you code to an f80 and change the engine option as well.

First time round I only changed vehicle ie f80 but left as n57 engine - made a bit of s difference. But not the full works.

Is this still the case? Or can it be done now?
