I'm currently driving a 2011 e90 328i Black on Beige w HK Audio + BMW Assist.

Order Placed today (3/18) with Les @ Pines BMW in South Florida. Great Guy. No Deposit required, just an order.

Should have Production Number from him tonight he says, with that I can look up my VIN online correct?



3/18 - Order Put in at BMW Dealership
3/22 - Order began production - Expected Completion Date: 4/2
3/28 - Car is in the Body Shop - Expected Completion Date Moved to: 4/3
3/29 - Car is in the Pain Shop - Estimated Completion Date of 4/3/13
4/3 - Your Vehicle Production is complete and is awaiting to be released to the carrier.
4/4 - Your Vehicle is being transported to the Port of Exit.
4/5 - Your Vehicle is at the port awaiting a shipping vessel.
4/12 - "Your vehicle is in transit. Please contact your center for additional tracking information." - I'm on the Chesapeake Highway. Expected Arrival: 4/24/13.

I believe your VIN only comes after the car goes into production...

you can, but it may take a few days.

bmwusa couldn't recognize my production no. until a week after I got it.

6-8 weeks EC deliveries.

Phone still says Car is in the Paint Shop, but now the VIN finally is populated on BMWVIN.com

From last night to this morning looks like it went from paint shop to "Vehicle is in assembly" message to complete... Phone system lags. Now it says:
