My V1s have the hex hole, I love the suspension but it makes a bit of noise and I am not the only one who has this problem.

Fortune auto has a set of coilovers for the f30! I am currently their beta car for the coilovers and I love these. For more info contact them directly.
Any more info on these? Where did you have the install done?

Just chipping in to share my option.

I fitted Bilstein PSS10 B16 KOMFORT to my F30 (48-229012). These have a longer spring than the normal B16 PSS10. Lowering is in the -10-30mm range, not the -30-50mm range for the normal version. I didn't want to go that low.

I fitted them because I don't rate the standard M Sport suspension ( I've had both Adaptive and passive, both suck!!!). Verdict, wow what a transformation, the car now rides like an M3/M4, no jokes it really does stick to the road. It is also far less crashy when going over potholes, etc. An amazing transformation

mine is KW V2 installed on my 328i.

after a while i notice the bump stop was destroyed. had my car jacked one time at the local tyre shop for tyre swap and noticed the bump stop is like shredded foam and the dust cover wasnt in tact anymore.

also the rear perch or height adjuster need longer threads, at the highest ride the clearance between fender and wheel is only one finger gap.

hate to drive the in laws in my car cos fender scrub and malaysian roads has lots of potholes.

emailed KW and asked if they have a longer perch than the one that came in the box, apparently they do but they dont post it under spare parts in their website had to order them and they came with coil spring as a set.

in all, i guess KW makes good suspension but really should consider on the options of height, i didnt look at this as a problem in the beginning, but when you are running on 19's with 30 series tyres, hits you like a bitch!

Ok, so I finally broke down and ordered this setup. Found a great price online for almost 25% off with free shipping.

I just installed the BC Racing Coilovers on my 328 F30, and I'm seriously impressed. Great ride, great adjustability, great look (both car and suspension). All in all I'm pretty stoked.

I posted a review on the BC racing coilover discussion. Pictures to follow.

Did you get camber plates as well?

I sure did. Letting things settle a bit before I start adjusting camber.

i thought the fronts come with the camber plates included, or are you referring to the rears? also, do you need to replace the oem camber arms (e.g. megan racing camber control arms) in order to adjust camber or is the bc camber plates along with oem arms enough?

The set comes with front camber plates. So camber at the front is adjusted with those. The front has control arms that allow the toe to be adjusted. Not sure about caster.

The rear, I haven't really looked into this. I though the rear camber/caster could be adjusted, but maybe I need to change the control arms to get those right.

As already mentioned, the fronts come with the camber plates. Although the verbiage on there site may lead you to believe they may be available for the rears they are not. It's because of the design of the rear, the assembly doesn't go through the body as most cars and previous BMW's do. The advantage of this is you don't have to tear apart the trunk.

Fronts are more than adjustable. Dropped 3" my plates are almost centered giving me equal adjustment either negative or positive. This is with my alignment set more to the conservative side of BMW's spec. From factory only toe is adjustable. (slight adjustments can be made within the strut tower for camber/caster but very minimal)

The rear I had to opt for the upper arms from Megan to get my camber within even the aggressive end of BMW spec. (again, I am set on the conservative side & dropped 3"). From factory it is fully adjustable but obviously only so much. Depending on how much you drop you can get away with the stock arms. You should be able to get away with dropping 2~2.5". I was slightly off the aggressive end at 3".

While I haven't ventured into this section in a bit, I saw you commented in the thread and am happy to update. Since moving on from the F30 I've got the TC Kline kit on my Z4M and it's great!

sorry for the mini thread hi jack...

Does anyone know if there's a DIY on how to get the trunk liners out to the point in this picture below? Someone posted it earlier in this thread when showing the KW suspension wiring.

Trying to run some electrical wiring (for an exhaust cutout) from under the car and to the fuse box in the trunk.
