Of you who driven xdrive models before, now to order the xdrive you will automatically take the sport suspension off either the SL or the ZMM, is it worth it, how does the xdrive feel

All about personal preference. The main reason I decided not to go with xdrive is because sports suspension is very important for me. You should try one with sports suspension and one without - and make a call. Note - an xdrive vehicle without sports sups will feel the same as a non-xdrive without sports sups.

Exclamation

Okay hold on now...you're in Tampa - so unless you plan on moving much much more North, why would you even want xdrive?? especially since you lose a lot of fuel efficiency.

I have an xDrive. I thought it would be more appropriate in Indiana winters. It sits a bit higher and tends to understeer a little when turning very aggressively. Absolute rocket off the line but feels slower than my old RWD E90 when going WOT from a roll at higher speeds.

In sum: I've owned both xDrive and non-xDrive E90s and each have their strengths. xDrive is more practical for me where I live but RWD is more fun. I like being able to break loose the tires from time to time and I'm more comfortable with dealing with/correcting oversteer.

If you live in Tampa, why would you want AWD?
