Need ideas for my 435d xdrive GC

Hi everyone,

A while back i introduced my 435d xdrive here. Unfortunately, somebody else totaled it after only 3 months.

Now, I ordered a new one (will arrive this week). I ordered a Tansanitblue on Sattelbraun Gran Coupe.

Before I'm going to pick it up from the dealership, I will have it transported to an upholstry shop to have the dash, console, doors,... Done. I want to do something like the extended leather option. On the 4GC this option is only available for the dash, not for the doors. That's why I did'nt order it from the factory.

Now, does anyone have ideas on how to do the interior? I want to do something unique, special.

Thanks!

You probably have a lot of people thinking *Maybe I shouldn't have spent $2000 on that slightly nicer leather, and instead taken it to a specialist to get a bespoke interior for the same price or less*

I was always really impressed with Katzkin on episodes of Overhaulin', they don't do anything off the shelf for BMW but their site might help you with some design ideas that you can take to a local leather crafter:

The thing is, I have a +/- 8000$ budget for this. So I want to do something cool.

I would take the $8,000+ and put it towards an M2

Something like this?

You might want to contact the people from Bernard Cools bekledingen, Eindhoven.
I've had my F30 done in Zimtbraun with beige stitching, couldn't be happier. Even the Cools Dakota actually feels like leather, unlike the plastic feeling BMW Dakota. It's soft, velvetlike and doesn't feel like overly painted and coated leather.

This is kind of what I had before someone totaled my car.

I had the dash done in black nappa with sattlebraun stiching, the bottom of the dash in sattlebraun dakota. The entire doors, pilar,... In black nappa and sattlebraun inserts.

But now I would like to do something extra special...

I'm sure if you call them, they'll have something extra extra special.

How about something similar to this while keeping the color theme you had before:
