Well, partially true. I have polarized Ray Bans and Von Zippers and both do the same thing. It's dimmer when my head is level and looking straight ahead. If I kink my head one way or the other, then it blanks out.

In the USA you can get the Nav on it's own for $2,150 or the Tech pkg for $3,150 and the main or only difference is the HUD

Doesn't it boil down to;
Is the Head's up display worth $1,000?
