i called the dealer, but he doesnt know how to find it. where is the sat radio on a 2012 3 series?... cause i know even if your not subscribe to it, in other cars you should be able to access it, and the preview sound comes on and give you a # to subscibe to sirius or xm

Prep is not the same as having sat radio.

You need to buy an fsc code to activate the function. You can do it at your dealer for about $375 or do it for less with bimmertech.

Nope, no wiring, that's what sat prep is which your car has.

I just went through the process.

I bought the fsc code for under $200, a cable to connect to the car for $40 for coding, and uploaded the software to a laptop. The steps for how to do it are posted in the coding thread in the DIY section.

I can't tell you which is better, its your personal preference as both cars look almost identical equipment wise and differ only by color and finishes.

Again, it's a personal preference.

I would not own one without the sports suspension.

You said, you forgot to add that car number two has Sports suspension.

I stated, if one of them does or does not, that would be an issue for ME.

Umm, drive one.

It is lower, handles better.

Drive a car with and without if you are unsure if it's something you want.
