New 3 Series (F31) Wagon Ordering Info?
I figured by now, March 1, BMW would surely have officially released price and ordering information for the US market for the wagon as well as to have placed it in "Build Your Own" on their website, but nothing yet as far as I have seen. A while back someone posted a PDF of prices, but I haven't heard anything from BMW other than that it "will be in US showrooms in the spring." Anyone read or seen anything lately?

Contacted dealer to get quote on F31 wagon...
Greetings,
Thanks everyone. So I used bmwconfig.com so that I was clear informed on MSRP and Invoice on the wagon before I began calling dealers. I called BMW of Salem (Oregon) and was told that "there is only five wagons allotted for Oregon/the Northwest and those are 'reserved,' and we're only selling them at FULL MSRP..." Before I contact other dealers, I have a few questions: 1) What does this "...allotted cars..." mean? Is this relevant if I am able to order from other dealers and in other parts of the country? Clearly they are trying to play the "the car is in very short supply so act now..." game to pump up the price, but I don't know if this is something I should, first, believe, and, second, be concerned about. Thoughts anyone? 2) Does anyone pay full MSRP? If so, and if other dealers say the same, is there anyway around it? It seems that when the F30 was first introduced people were getting good deals. Is this because there were many more F30s available than the F31? 3) I have been driving my 2000 323i wagon for many years and am not in a huge hurry to buy a new one, so should I simply wait a few months for the supply of the new wagons to increase? 4) Any other ideas? Thanks, Tracy |

The weirdest thing is our neighbor up north can already order the 2014 model year F31 while we have to wait till July. The MY2013 F31 for the US market will be in production between 03/13 - 06/13.

I didn't realize that our market was even getting the wagon. Instead of getting the new 5 wagon, we got that hideous GT thing, I thought they were doing the same with the new 3.

New wagon Info
I'm in Germany and have been working with the local dealership on US spec wagon info for the last couple of months. My dealer has been very forthright and no BS here in Germany and has been very helpful. I also got prices from 6 east coast dealerships.
No, nobody should pay MSRP. Most dealerships on the east coast take between 2-5 grand off MSRP on this wagon. This allotment thing sounds like another way to make you feel you have to pay full price-don't do it! The wagon is only available in xdrive, auto and, yes if you order m-sport or sport line the sports suspension is deleted like on any xdrive. So, the 2 sports packages are essentially cosmetic on the xdrive (sorry guys). The good news, is you can get the awesome adaptive suspension for 1K. I have driven both on the autobahn and twisty mountain roads and the adaptive is more than up to the task. Whether you order here or in the US, the car should arrive in May/June. Hope this helps. |

So, yes 3/13-6/13 builds are like MY13 builds, but BMWNA is calling them all MY14.

Here I attached 2 documents. One being the ordering guide and the other is the bulletin on the wagon.
I ordered mine a few weeks ago, which should be the March production, landing here around May

OK...so in the tech pkg, it lists Advanced RTTI and in the options, you can add Concierge. I thought this was bound to the NBT (nav pro). Is this not the case?
