Cool New pics: HRE wheels and Dinan X-drive springs

Got my Dinan x-drive springs installed today... the ride is great. It reminds me of my stock e60 M5. Before comfort kinda felt like I was driving around in a buick.. the car just floated out of control over highway dips.. It's much more refined now but still very comfortable. I know Dinan is pricey, but I think they nailed it on these springs for people with DHP & X-drive.

HRE Flowform - roghly 22 lbs
20x8.5 ET30 - 235/35
20x10 ET40 - 265/30

Had to shave 3mm off the rear wheels so they were flush with my moderate drop. If you did coil overs you wouldn't have to shave the wheels.

Also got my Dinan exhaust adjusted to it's nice and tight against the bumper

Please let me know your thoughts!

275 rubs and it would stick out past the fender.

The last picture from the rear is deceiving, the rim doesn't stick out past the tire as you might think(just a reflection).

great looking setup...I think you would've been ok without shaving anything off the wheels. The wheels are great but the silver finish HRE used for these wheels is a bit dull IMO. Looks really nice overall.

HRE are perfectionists when it comes to wheels. They definitely wouldn't sell him wheels that would stick out. Fit and finish looks perfect. Can't even tell its an X drive with that drop =P. Nice looking stable too!

Thanks for the comments.

On a standard Xdrive suspension the rear wheels will stick out 10mm past the fender. Do a search and find the other threads on these wheels.

HRE didn't want to adjust the fitment on these from their e90 sizes.

You might be thinking on a custom 3 piece set they can do any offset you want.

I don't believe so, but I know that Vorsteiner has released some flow formed light weight wheels in 20x8.5" ET35 and 20x10" ET45 which fit and can run 275 without rubbing. Just another option.
