I bought and installed dual slat Carbon Fiber front grilles. I am not sure on the ///M logo on front even though it is an M Sport. I may take it off. It came with ///M3, but cut off the 3. Otherwise I love the grilles over the plasti-dipped ones I had on there...

Thanks, I appreciate it

...I have no guide unfortunately and I do CF work as a side business. I have been doing CF work for a few years so I just go out there and do it. I learned from trial and error and some misinformation on the web in DIY guides and learning better ways to do things. I think DIY guides are great for taking a bumper off, but for stuff like this, it is feel and experience. I would recommend doing a light switch cover or something similar when learning how to do it...make your mistakes on that, not your trim.

I finally had time to finish the last piece of contrast stitching for my F31 (driver's seat).

You can see pics of the centerline stitching and U-channel I did too. Since the spacing between where the black guide thread in the U-channel wove in and out of the existing stitches I had to go around twice with the blue thread in that space to keep the pitch looking about even with the other areas.

Cool, I am in the ATL suburbs... did you by chance change to the T-210 from the T-135 on the seats?

I did...and I redid my front headrests. I have not changed anything in the rear and probably won't.

Thanks, I get compliments on the interior more than just about anything I have done to the car.

It was trial and error...but what I ended up doing was use a straight needle and went in the corner of the headrest or whatever you are doing so it is hidden...I had to use needle nose pliers to pull it through the leather...then I switched to the hooked needle...

Hope that makes sense.

Thanks man, yeah I get what you're saying... Can't wait to start this project!
I have the gloss black highline in mine and wish the door matched... did you have to take the entire door panel off inside in order to take yours off to paint?

I did take the entire door panel off..then took the accent trim off and painted and plastic welded it back together. It is a lot of work, but makes it so much easier than trying to tape it off and do it without overspray.

There are CF rear backs coverings for M3/M4 Front Sests.

I've always hated the large plastic rear in the F30.

Wondering if you've ever considered doing those in the F30.... Or as they are bigger than the F8xs, if you think they'd be too big and look strange?

I have thought about doing them for my car, but haven't pulled the trigger yet.
I have done them on the E9x series a few times. They are super large and a pain to do but they can be done. Here is a pic of the last set I did about a month ago for an E92. On these, I embedded an ///M logo for the guy at his request.

I think the F30's are even a little larger...so I am not convinced they won't look strange...They look amazing, but very large.

I'm really liking what you did with your 335. Is PM'ing you the quickest way to get in contact with you?
