Again, I play when the money is big -

Yes its a ridiculous amount of money but rather cheesily I think about all the good it could do, I have a lot of personal family and friends that would benefit from a few quid let alone sharing life changing amounts.

I think last time it got silly big there was an entire Scottish estate up for sale circa £50m with a couple of villages etc, that would have been my selfish ideal purchase :-)

I wouldn't. You can't hide money. And if you do tick it, Camelot won't help you.

I'd still be ticking it and disappearing.

£167m gets you quite far away

The I wish they would just lower the odds rather than giving a tiny chance of winning a huge sum. Frankly, winning £10m is going to be almost as good as winning £167m. It gives you a huge amount of freedom. Owning a £1m Bugatti won't feel very different to owning a £180k Ferrari.

I am more likely to play during one of their special events when they guarantee 10 UK
winners of £1m. Still a useful sum!

I tend to agree. But judging by the previous comments the reason the pot is so large is because some people only join in when it get so much.. But 16 £10.000.000 wins would still be life changing.

Absolutely agree, can not for the life of me understand why big winners go public. That must be asking for all sorts of problems

I suppose if you're a low-wage worker living in a modest home, it's going to be a near impossible task to enjoy a huge win without letting on. Pretty soon it will be public knowledge. For most here, if you already have a good standard of living, you could probably step things up more discretely over a couple of years without that happening.

A few (sort of) friends and family already think its acceptable to use us as a lender of last resort. I dread to think what would happen if we let them know about a win.

I won a 100 quid on the online scratch cards once whilst on there buying a lottery ticket.

167m actual cash in the bank really does put you up the rich list. Loads of people have millions in assets but thats a whole heep of cash.

If I win it I will donate the 340 to derv driver on here...
