What happens if you turn it on in a busy town centre with lots of traffic, shops, etc? just stays low all the time? I presume the idea is you just use/activate it when you are out moving at reasonable pace rather than leave it on all the time.
Also, would it spot a cyclist coming towards or away from you? |

I had a car come up behind me on an unlit road. Took me a little time to work out how come his headlights are lighting up both sides of my car but not blinding me. When he passed, I saw his light patten change and it was so futuristic, one head lamp appeared to turn off and the other lit up full beam, then all on. Started me looking at BMW to find out more.

There are codes published but it doesn't seem to work perfectly. It's fine if you start the car in daylight, when the auto lights come on the auto high beam does too, but it doesn't activate automatically if you start the car in the dark. I've yet to play with it'll try!
