Good work. I'm doing the M4 sills first. I still can't decide how to paint the diffuser anyway. Lol.

started seeing this Best Bolt On Mods for BMW F30 328i/428i – N20/N26 Engines Part I – ECU & Intake & Best Bolt On Mods for BMW F30 328i/428i – N20/N26 Engines Part II – Downpipes & Exhaust on the mb blog

Going to see which of them do not void warranty per-say lol or that i can bring my car in for service without having to remove. If none then we're doomed and can't use our piggyback too high

I really want a DP for the sound but I have no interest in running a full JB4 so that's out.

I'm sure I will think of more little stuff I want as time goes on tho.

Same here .. plus DP is out of the question since we're under warranty and it will void it =\ unless we're willing to remove it and put it back for service (hassle). But someone just told me that the catless are the issue not the catted so I might

- Tune
- Intercooler
- Chargepipe
- Throttle Body Spacer
- Downpipe
- Oil Catch Can
- Intake
- Exhaust

When is the diffuser going to arrive? Are you going to paint or vinyl wrap? I am leaning towards vinyl wrap for the side sills. I am hoping it will be cheaper and more durable than painting.

Diffuser was supposed to arrive today but based on weather I have a feeling it is going to be tomorrow.

I'm not going to vinyl it due to the heat, I am having a body shop paint it Jet Black.

I didnt even think about the heat issue on plastic. Hmmm...need to ask the vinyl wrap guy about this.

Can't wait to see it on the car! Is it all going to be jet black? The all black diffuser looks good. I've been waiting for you and tboooe for new updates so I have things to look at on the forums

Haha, him and I have very similar mod styles.

I can't wait either, if all goes well it will get painted tomorrow and installed on Saturday.

You gonna paint behind the vent(s)? The Alpine White really shows through, you're EB might not be as noticeable.

The 2 day shipping on my spacers didn't happen.

What spacers did you get? BMS? What size?

Yes, BMS. 10 & 12 Like I said before, my tires are ~4-5mm wider inside and out. With the sticky Michelins and all the cinders on the roads, my paint is going to get eaten up. But I'll look good doin' it.

Whats Flex? Some additive to the paint to allow for some flexing without cracking? Is that in normal automotive paint?

Yeah the shop will cut the tabs, they have to be lol.

I don't know what they will add or do, but I trust them, the guy whose shop it is is a member on here, owns an M4, and they work on high end cars, so I'm sure this will be a walk in the park for them.

EDIT: After googling flex, it seems like most modern paints really don't need it and are flexible on their own, but what do I know. Either way still trust the shop to do it right.

You're forgetting me! I have the exhaust conversion as well. Drive to Cali and we can get a shot of all our cars! Also goldguilexx I also been thinking about the side sills but really going to be the last of the mods. I'm pretty much 95% done since getting new wheels. Only things left really are brakes and possible tune.
