JB4 issue?

Hello. I'm new to the forum so don't grill me. I'v had my JB4 for about 2 months now, but these past few days i noticed something odd, and was wondering if ya'll can help me figure out the source of the issue. I noticed, at times, that my nav. screen turns off (while i drive) and turns back on again intermittently. it does not change the cars driveability but its odd nonetheless. its happened mybe 10 times in the span of the past week. moreover, twice i noticed it'll give me an ABS warning light after the navigation screen comes back on (which eventually disappears). thanks, and any help will help!

Not sure, but perhaps check all the connections . Including the OBDII connector(the one that plugs the jb4 to the OBDII cable) and try pulling the battery??

I'm not so sure this is jb4 related. Never ever heard of it causing an idrive issue.

One thing for sure is to be 100% certain, remove it and drive around for a week or two without it and cross that off the troubleshoot list.

I don't think jb4 has anything to do with that at all. And you have had the jb4 a couple months--if you screwed something on install it would have been evident at that time. If you have warranty take it to the dealer.

yeah.I think ill take the box off and take it to the dealer and have them figure it out.

My iDrive used to reset after some bad coding, it would always turn on and off randomly whilst driving but after I reset it, it's been perfect. No ABS light though.

Why are you assuming it is a JB4 issue? Does the issue stop when the JB4 is uninstalled?

Issue does not sound related to the Jb4
