EGS 3000 Applikation_LC / LC = aktiv
EGS 3000 Sportschalter_alt = aktiv
EGS 3000 Sportschalter = aktiv

Sport+ or Traction on the shift lean to manually select gears, DSC OFF and every other mode as well as M1 instead of S1 will not trigger the Launch Control flag. Findings are you can take off right when the rpms max out with LC flag on for a great take off even with wheel chirp on xDrive in the dry. With LC off and DSC off I think the take off is a bit faster when brake boosting because the rpm holds at 3k instead of 2.5k? If you let go of the brake too fast without LC the car bogs like traction control kicked in even with DSC OFF. I find when letting go of the brake gradually the take off is faster but I assume some time is lost doing that.. LC flag to max rpm and let go of brake = quickest way to take off from a dig.

Any 2013 guys with a pre march build have luck with this? I just recently had some service done and they update my software I think because when I went to code I had to get newest esys to code my car properly. I really need launch control in my life. Can anyone help?

Hello!

ISteps:
current: F025-15-03-501
last: F025-13-11-504
shipment: F025-12-03-503

Currently I have v.4.10.13_PSdZData_Full and when I am going to flash modules (accordingly to the "E-Sys - Flashing ECU Guide v.1.0.1"), then I can not see EGS in the ECU table. There are some modules available in the ECU list, but not EGS. Why would it be so? 4.10.13 is newer than current IStep: F025-15-03-501, so it should show EGS?

Trying to activate Launch Control. As I read from the forum, then I should stay between 50.4 to 51.3 or I will have troubles with 2012 F25.

2TB is already in VO from factory, but activating LC in the EGS module did not activate launch Control in reality.

Also, you need to have your vehicle be driven first for 6 miles (10 km) uninterrupted to get to optimal engine temperature. Then:
1. Place driving mode in Sport+ or turn off traction control.
2. Move transmission into Sport. (Should say S1 on your instrument cluster.)
3. Firmly and fully press the brake pedal and hold.
4. Floor the throttle past resistance point into kick down. (You should feel a little click on the pedal.)
5. Your instrument cluster should say "Launch Control Active"
6. Fully release the brake pedal and keep the throttle floor.
7. Enjoy.

Those are the steps I tell everyone else and it seems to work for them. Hope this sorta helps...
Sorry to hijack an old post but just picked up a new car and trying to test LC.
I’ve not been brave enough to go as far down as full throttle and then into kick down, but at 3-3.5k revs the car is trying to pull away, is that normal and I’m just being a wimp?

Remove 205, vo code 2TB.
code egs module and kombi.
Go to fdl coding on egs and search for LC -> if its inaktiv, make it aktive. -> save -> code fdl. That should be it. Then you should have sport+ and LC

My question is, can you adjust the RPM's like you can on the M models? I tried using the cruise control to adjust it but the RPMS sit at 2k and wont budge. I didnt know if there is another way to bump them up on a non M car.
I don't think you can. I just tried with my 328d and it only holds rpm's at ~3200. Seems super high but I think that's because it's a diesel. Works perfect and no wheel spin so I guess it's fine.
