I'm totally with you. I'm on 17" wheels with 50-profile tyres and just LOVE my car. And I have the base "thin" steering wheel. Still love it.

There will always be mods and improvements that we'd like to do but don't always make financial sense. That doesn't mean our cars aren't a hoot to drive.

Hell, if I had the budget for a completely well specced F30 I don't know what it will cost. Probably twice the cost of mine. At that budget, I'd go for an M3 or something.

I am currently deployed but I ve my beloved wife send me a weekly pic of the car. She thinks that crazy.She will understand when she gets her X5 in July next year.

I feel the exact same way. This is also my first BMW. I've owned MB, Audi and Lexus. No other car is close (ok, MB is close- kinda). The F30 is just so damned beautiful and the lines from the back are to die for. The interior is perfect for me in every way. Seriously, nothing annoys me about the car (except the red stitching).

Is there a faster, safer and more efficient car all in one?

I agree with all of the above! This is my first week with my car and it has exceeded all of my expectations, and it's so damn beautiful...

$63k MSRP. That's what mine cost, and it's not even an M sport.
