Alarm...?

hoping someone can help me with this Question..

I have a 13" 328 Msport, and coded.. Premium Pkg, Lighting Pkg. I am curious about if there is , or how to activate the alarm...

Is it an extra add on? or does it come pre loaded?

If you have panic button on fob you got alarm

Alarm in standard on 335, but an option on 328 in US (same with xenon).

I've yet to see a retrofit for the F3x. E9x had a factory retrofit available through Euro dealers.

Has anyone even tried setting off their alarm without using the panic butting? I tried earlier to shake my car and pull on the door handles, but no alarm. I have a '14 335i.

Roll down windows, place your hand inside and reach for center console. Should activate. Also, with window down, open door using inside handle.

Has a tow sensor, but car needs to be raised sufficiently to activate.

The factory alarm does not work like your typical aftermarket alarm. No impact sensors, glass breaks, piezo's to detect pulled door handles, etc...
