Yes, I was aware of the decals and blades as being separate. Finally found them on GetBMWParts. For some reason my go-to online sellers weren't listing the blades.

Part #s ($128.93 each):

51-19-2-361-680 - right
Cool. There's a lot of confusion it seems about what's what with those. Check w Brian at Sun I just got blades from him for $130 for a pair for my 2-series, don't think 3-series is much more.

Now I am livid, the price has dropped considerably since I purchased mine.
I purchased mine from the dealer oem M-sport parts, and they are made from rather inexpensive black plastic, a high profit resale a item for sure: But what cost is vanity?

Man, that is a total ripoff. Did he understand you correctly. I've seen it done at a local indy BMW shop. It looked good and if I recall correctly it was a two hour job and their hourly rate was 115.00 so that would be l1/3 of what they are quoting you...walk on this one.

@ZHP076 sorry to thread jack, but what are those wheels? They look amazing.

OP - which shop is this? I am in the DMV and want to make sure I don't waste any time there

The wheels are OEM BMW, the standard 18" M-Sport Orbit Grey V spoke wheels.

Just FYI I installed mine today. 2 hours including a trip to Home Depot for rivets.

Clean side sill, apply 3M adhesive promoter (not included) for extra grip. Line up and stick on. Then jack the car up or use ramps to get enough room for your drill. Skirts are predrilled you then drill into rocker panel.

Kit includes plastic rivets which I thought were eh so I got aluminum ones at Home Depot. You need 1/8 wide by 1/4 tall or hold width or whatever they call it.

You could probably do under an hour if you have everything on hand and aren't maneuvering around a tight garage.

thats insane. took me 45 minutes and that involved taking off both side skirts, cleaning, predrilling the holes and then screwing them in and reattaching the side skirts with the extensions attached.
