I put the lci black line tail lights in. They worked for hours while I was doing sales calls. Then all of a sudden the right rear turn signal wouldn't work and started fast blinking like a bad bulb. So I messed around with it and realized no power at terminal connection from factory passenger side outer harness. I disconnected battery waited 15 minutes and still doesn't work. I put all the stock lights back in, disconnected battery again. And it still doesn't work. Now my error comes on showing bad turn signal and L/R secondary break lights have errors. However, with the umnitza black line lci lights in car, as soon as I turn on, not start, the outer signal on pass outer blinks fast about 5 times, showing that the wire has continuity. Do I need to have a coding guy check things out? I'm stumpers. Please help.

Coding most likely won't do anything. I think umnitza just sells garbage, there's a thread around here about umnitza headlights. Just about all of them seem to fail sooner or later and it seems like their customer support isn't too good either. Good luck getting replacements from them...

But why do i still not get power to that terminal plug for the passenger rear turn signal? With everything back to stock and reset? could it have damaged something? Or do i need to go into the computer and reset something.

Are the pins/bushings still ok?

I checked wired before the connector inside the trunk.

Turned out to be a faulty REM (Rear Electronics Module). Could the tail lights cause this to fail, or is it just a coincidence?

I'm assuming the dealer determined the REM was bad? It's not uncommon for the REM to shut off power to certain areas when there is a short. ISTA will usually tell you and give you the ability to reset the terminal controlling it.
