Thanks for your service and congratulations on your new car.

I think these pictures are the first US spec M-sport pictures I've seen outside of the press pictures and bimmerpost official pictures. I'm really liking it. I was afraid that there would be too much wheel gap but it doesn't look that bad. Did you get the Dynamic Handling Package (adaptive M suspensions)? The 400M style wheels don't look that bad either. I'm starting to really like those wheels with the M-sport setup.

Also, your interior picture shows that you have a button for the rear foglights. How did you get that? Is that a US spec option?

Thanks again for the pictures!

Thanks for posting! I just ordered an Alpine White 328 M Sport (RWD) and am waiting patiently. The photos reassured my color choices -- it is perfect! I was also a little worried about the 18" wheels (not like we have a choice on the 328), but they look very nice. I think I'll be happy with it for sure. Cheers and thanks for your service to USA.

Question: Did you chose the 2PE pkg for the wheels/tires (staggered -225/front, 255/back)? so those are NOT All-Season tires on the rims? or are they.

Just ordered mine and trying to figure out if that pkg only comes w/ summer tires.

Did you order 2PE w/ A/S tires or that is just how it came from the factory?--for some reason I thought the Pirellis were the A/S tire that they use on the new F30's--
I didn't check to see if they are staggered but i will before i accept the car. I googled the P7 and its a summer performance tire so it should be 225 up front and 255 rear.

The car received a UK light conversion in Wurzburg before it left Germany. I don't know if the US spec comes with the foglight button but i do know that fogs are mandatory in the UK. And no, i didn't get the adaptive suspension.

It's nice to see real life pictures of the 18's. They were the one part of my car that I wasn't crazy about, but after seeing them I do like them. Congratulations on your new car! Have fun with it, be careful, and stay safe. By the way, are you getting any leave to enjoy the Olympics?
The 18s are really nice wheels. I was going to replace them right away but after seeing them on the car they seem perfect. If anything i may get them powdercoated with a slight drop.

I'm not taking any leave but my wife and i are going to see an event. One advantage of living close to London.

Does your car then have the standard sport suspension ? When you took the photos, had the shipping blocks been removed ?

In any event, your car has sure got me excited ! Your colour combo is perfect for the M Sport - congrats and thank you for sharing your photos with the forum !

Your car's summer performance tires will help shorten the braking distance compared to A/S tires and they will also transfer the engine's torque into faster acceleration from a stop. These are major benefits of having the staggered wheels with performance tires that come with the M Sport package. When I first read that the new F30-335i was being equipped with 225 tires all round, I was very disappointed having had a staggered set-up on my previous E92-335i. The turbo six engine needs fatter tires to handle the torque, especially when the roads are slick.

Enjoy your stunning new 335i !!

^ Yep , standard sport suspension with shipping blocks removed. I was suprised that there wasn't more wheel gap. I even moved it around to see how inclines/declines would affect it. Stayed pretty much the same

took a small video of the car. It had been cleaned and backed into their storage garage behind other cars so there wasn't very much room to move around. Its not a very good video but you get the idea.

I also verified that the wheels are staggered. 225/45 r18 up front, 255/40 r 18 in the rear.

M Sport kidney slats ?

Just noticed that your US version has 11 kidney slats, compared to 8 for the Euro version M Sport kidneys.

The Canadian version M Sport kidneys are (according to BMW Canada) going to have 7 slats. Can there really be 3 versions of M Sport kidneys ???
