Thanks for your service and congratulations on your new car. I think these pictures are the first US spec M-sport pictures I've seen outside of the press pictures and bimmerpost official pictures. I'm really liking it. I was afraid that there would be too much wheel gap but it doesn't look that bad. Did you get the Dynamic Handling Package (adaptive M suspensions)? The 400M style wheels don't look that bad either. I'm starting to really like those wheels with the M-sport setup. Also, your interior picture shows that you have a button for the rear foglights. How did you get that? Is that a US spec option? Thanks again for the pictures! |

Thanks for posting! I just ordered an Alpine White 328 M Sport (RWD) and am waiting patiently. The photos reassured my color choices -- it is perfect! I was also a little worried about the 18" wheels (not like we have a choice on the 328), but they look very nice. I think I'll be happy with it for sure. Cheers and thanks for your service to USA.

Looks great, I didn't even notice that the steering wheel was on the left...

In any event, your car has sure got me excited ! Your colour combo is perfect for the M Sport - congrats and thank you for sharing your photos with the forum ! Your car's summer performance tires will help shorten the braking distance compared to A/S tires and they will also transfer the engine's torque into faster acceleration from a stop. These are major benefits of having the staggered wheels with performance tires that come with the M Sport package. When I first read that the new F30-335i was being equipped with 225 tires all round, I was very disappointed having had a staggered set-up on my previous E92-335i. The turbo six engine needs fatter tires to handle the torque, especially when the roads are slick. Enjoy your stunning new 335i !! Last edited by DerekS; 07-25-2012 at 08:23 PM.. |

^ Yep , standard sport suspension with shipping blocks removed. I was suprised that there wasn't more wheel gap. I even moved it around to see how inclines/declines would affect it. Stayed pretty much the same

took a small video of the car. It had been cleaned and backed into their storage garage behind other cars so there wasn't very much room to move around. Its not a very good video but you get the idea. I also verified that the wheels are staggered. 225/45 r18 up front, 255/40 r 18 in the rear.

M Sport kidney slats ?
Just noticed that your US version has 11 kidney slats, compared to 8 for the Euro version M Sport kidneys.
The Canadian version M Sport kidneys are (according to BMW Canada) going to have 7 slats. Can there really be 3 versions of M Sport kidneys ??? |
