Decided to tint the windshield in 50% this weekend. MN laws are 50% all the way around. Virtually looks like nothing so figured by tinting the windshield it brings it down a tad and makes it so much easier to see. I use to run 5% on all windows including full windshield so this is still very light but I like it now a lot better. Just feels nicer inside, but not very noticeable outside looking in.
You can get a feel for it in the second pic as you look through the windshield and looking through the passenger window, you can still see through with no problem. Nice subtle change. |

nice work! I always tint my front windshield. Definitely helps to keep the heat down. Its expensive though as compared to what it costs for the 5 windows. $180 vs $240!

Yes I get a steal from our tint sponsor for our BMW FB page where I am an admin. He normally charges $139.99 for the windshield. It was a tough decision to do 70 or 50. Glad I went 50 so all the windows are the same. It is actually easier on your eyes as well when all the windows are the same. They adjust better. I am getting to old for the 5% windshields. I look at my old car pics and wonder how I never even hit anything. LOL.. |

Can somebody please send me a link for the front bumper? I got in a little accident a week ago and I'm having getting the front bumper right headlight, and both kidney grills replaced and I'm thinking instead of getting an aftermarket luxury line front bumper, I might as well go with an m-sport aftermarket. My car has PDC and the cameras. Thanks!

Also, is the plate holder solid? In Australia we must have the front and rear plates showing at all times - so if I'm doing, say 120km's/75mph, will it cope with the wind force? Or will it fling back into my car and cause some damage lol. Car looks great btw - makes a huge difference with the M Sport front bar.

Very Cool. I've been searching for M sports only mostly because I don't like the front ends of non m sports. Otherwise the rest isn't a big deal for me?

So a "good" shop will ensure color matching? I am scared of the bumper not matching TOTALLY to my original car color (imperial blue)!!

Dippydo is this the same place you got your front? I'm trying to decide between this one, Selma, or Mod Bargains. Also have you had any problems with it sense?

Sorry Guys I got an M4 last year so I haven't been back to this side since and got an email about where I got my bumper. I got it from Selma, but I heard they quite selling them. I found that Mod Bargains was selling the same one though from same factory.
