I guess it's up to each person's preference. I don't mind some M badges on the interior but I feel the same on the exterior, prefer a discreet look with no badges.

Actually, I didn't foresee a LED door sill from BMW. Ordered one right away when I noticed it was released. Both are nice

I Ordered mine from Pasco-HK - Delivery took roughly a week.
http://www.pasco-hk.com/index.php?ro...product_id=147

I think it's cheaper at ECS

It appears they are available for both. I think ECS would be more convenient since they are based in the US so it would be the better choice since it's less in price, delivery cost & time.

M means Marketing for BMW and believe it or not we all get sucked into it because we pay for it.

Will the Performance ones fit the F36? The descriptions are not too clear...

Installation was quite simple, they provide a wooden spatula that slides under and levers out the existing trim. Then just a snap on the new one.

Felt it was quite ricer like but since it's such a cheap mod. Might give it a try and see how it looks. If I don't like it, I'll take it off.

Check, this out. I am not sure if these sills say BMW or M Performance as the pictures shows both. I will inquire but the description says it will fit 3 and 4 Series so the part shown by the OP should work.

http://parts.bmwofsouthatlanta.com/p...472350301.html

I dig on the M Performance sill but I think I like my stock M series non illuminated sill more. I am not sure how I feel about the new M logo with the squiggly lines.

Can you comment on the installation? Was it hard to remove the existing sill?
