18" Style 400M wheel, will they fit an F30 with M Performance brake kit option, ? ?
Hi All, newbie here
Just signed on the dotted line for a Feb 2015 F30 330D M Sport (NOT XDrive btw) in Glacier Silver Metallic. The car is fitted with the standard 19" 403 M wheels and the M Performance factory fit brake upgrade option (blue calipers). I'm not a massive fan of 19" wheels on a daily driver, nor the fact the faces are diamond cut. Instead I'd like to fit the 18" style 400 M staggered wheels (8.0" front and 8.5" rear). The supplying dealer initially said the "standard" style 400 M wouldn't fit over the M Performance brakes, and that the car would need a set of style 400M wheels specifically for cars equipped with the MP brakes. I wasn't convinced so spoke to my local dealer today. I gave them the car's chassis number, and after five minutes of enquiries, they said the style 400 M would NOT fit the car with the optional MP brake kit. I've since spoken to another dealer who says the style 400 M wheels are listed as an option for the car ..... Can someone please clarify whether the 18" staggered style 400 M wheels will or will not fit over the MP brake kit without issues ? These images of a 4 Series 335i GT fitted with MP brake option would tend to indicate they will ..... Many thanks for you help in advance |

all 400M wheels will fit over the M-sport brakes.. They are all the same..However, if you choose the 403M wheels with PSS tires (non run-flat) you will have both looks and comfort..

I ran my E90 335D on non runflats, the improvement in ride quality was massive. However the condition of the roads in the UK is getting worse year on year, so I'd prefer the added compliance the 18" wheel setup allows, all the moreso as I see the front tyres used with the 18" wheels are 45 profile. Additionally I already have a set of staggered 18" winter tyres which I can use on the 400 M wheels |

Is it weird to put on a set of non staggard when what came with my car has staggard?
I found a set that are square will all seasons for me to use in the winter. They are off a 435i. Can I assume all 400M wheels are the same? |
