2013 M Sport Estoril Blue Night Shots

BIMMERPOST
     Featured on BIMMERPOST.com
This is my M Sport. There are many like it but this one is mine.

Hey guys. Some dusk shots for your viewing pleasure. Nothing too fancy but actually its hard for this car not to look fancy.

It's been a journey, but it's over and it ended pretty well.

Originally I ordered a 2013 M Sport 328 with beige leatherette, HK sound and lighting package in July, waited a month, tracked it on the atlantic ocean on the Oberon... only to find out a few weeks before delivery that it had no bluetooth, no usb.

Every problem is just an opportunity in disguise.

So I decided I wasn't going to part with those options, regardless of the discount the dealership was offering me. Flirted again with the idea of the 335, but stuck with the 328. Super happy with this engine.

Went through another dealership and found one nearby with black leatherette, sport auto and nav. SO happy I got nav. The bigger screen is a lot better than the standard one, even if aren't using the navigation.

Overall, BMW's attention to detail on this car is astounding, especially the M Sport package. Reminds me of an Apple product. I keep giggling like a little girl every now and then when I discover something new, like the illuminated lights under all four door handles. What a way to say hello! The stock HiFi stereo isn't terrible like I expected. It's actually pretty decent. DVDs are playable, and look/sound good... and being able to save any CD you pop in to the hard drive is nice. Already backed up tons of my music and still 70% free space left.

Impressive how BIG a difference the 3 different driving modes make. It's hard not to always be in Sport Mode. The A.S.S. is driving me nuts, and it's only been a few days. Anywho enjoy the pics, better ones to come later...

His name is Heisenberg.

My original dealer didn't do much of anything, just the mandatory $750 off MSRP via the factory, but nothing else on their end. Their finance guy even told me on the phone that "he isn't going to 'lose money' on this car and that some people actually don't want BT and USB on their car"

I'm glad they didn't discount it any more because it made my decision to give it up easy and I found another M Sport with better options from a better dealer.

It's the combination of the yellowish lighting in the parking structure and high ISO settings on the camera during dusk time. The sun had already turned in for the day.

If I had the option to get brown saddle with my M Sport, I would definitely have done it. The reason I ordered beige originally was that every car I've ever owned was dark interior so I wanted a change. But glad I didn't because in addition to the missing BT/USB, they also omitted the dead pedal and I wasn't going to fight the dealership for it. Not like it's the biggest deal in the world, but it bothered me…Now nothing is missing, actually the opposite

I like it a lot. Looks and feels good, not cheap at all, no complaints…except my middle back gets a bit moist when its hot, even with the A/C on.. but that probably also happens with leather...

I'll jump in here, had mine for two weeks in Europe. Loved it there, can only imagine it will be even better when she gets home for tints.

Very Nice

Congratulations on your M-Sport, and welcome to the club! The setting sun really sets off the Estoril II very well. Also, as I myself am not a man of compromise, I applaud your efforts to find the car you want instead of settling. You wouldn't have enjoyed the car nearly as much, and every little thing that went wrong with it would have made you irate. Enjoy the ultimate drive!
