M Sport rear reflectors matched to the diffusor

I grabbed a couple of photos from the thread with bora's beautiful new 320d M Sport and changed the rear bumper reflectors to match the diffusor -- I think this will be one of the first things I do when I receive my car.

That looks great. The reflectors look awful in the rear diffuser, but at least they're in a less conspicuous location once painted. The ones in the front bumper aren't as easy to hide.

I agree as well! The reflectors look a lot better when matched to the diffuser.

Like it better like this, unless the car is red.

After staring down the pics for a while, I remain +1 on the stock reflector look.

While the reflectors in the front of the car look god awful and misplaced, the ones in the back actually look strange if they aren't stock.

- The paint matched looks weird because the lines of the M Sport bumper suggest there should be something other than the same painted area/styling there.

- The black/plasti-dipped looks nicer, however I would have to have them painted to be satisfied with the results - Plasti dip will come across matte/deep black and the shadowline is glossy and shiny. I also like how the diffuser is a flat, straight line on top rather than melding in with the rest of the bumper's lines. It is distinct & distinguished.

Stock it is! Woo hoo for investigating this. I am actually kind of surprised, since I absolutely refuse to leave the front reflectors untouched - I have had the front paint-matched reflectors waiting for the past 3 BMWs prior to delivery

The rear reflectors are not required in the USA, or in any individual states -- only in Europe and some other countries, right?

If I went with Estoril Blue, I would definitely lose the reflectors, one way or another. They are not so bad with the neutral paint colors (or with Melbourne Red).

I agree. The painted reflectors look good, but I don't think the stock rear reflectors look that bad. And, given all the idiots on the road, rear reflectors aren't the thing I'm willing to mess with.

Mine are off at the body shop getting painted, it's taking some time though since BMW hasn't publically released the paint code for that diffuser. Our body shop was finally able to get it from BMW so when they're done I'll snap some pics.

I just wrapped the diffuser and reflectors with gloss black vinyl and called it a day

Did they come off easily, peel & pull style. Or did you go from behind? ()

you reach up from behind and there are two clips holding it in, super easy.

I considered just doing them and the diffuser black but I did that on my E90 so I wanted to try something different

Looking forward to seeing the result. Can you please share the paint code for the diffusor?

Thanks,
Luke
