Bavsound Stage 1 Speaker Upgrade Kit
Bavsound Stage 1 Speaker Upgrade Kit available for sale.
Suits the following models with BMW’s Premium (Top HiFi) system installed. • 3 Series Coupe/Convertible MY2007+ • 6 Series Coupe/Convertible MY2007+ • M3 Coupe/Convertible MY2007+ Kit replaces every stock speaker in your BMW (except subs), and includes everything you need to upgrade your speakers without the need for modifications. You can find more details at http://www.bavsound.com. The kit is 3 years old and I purchased it new. It's only been installed once in my 335i, which I am selling. Still comes with original boxes. It's really hard to overstate how good these speakers are... If only they fit in the new car. This kit retails for over $1200 new, and I’m selling it at less than half that for $545. PM me if you'd like more details. |

I just installed it myself using the instructional videos online. There wasn't much to it, quite easy. Though, I didn't use the Bimmertech amp, as I found it sounded great with the stock amp.
Available for shipping Australia wide or Brisbane pick-up. |

Hey mate.
I had a look at the videos on YouTube and where it does look relatively straightforward, I don't really have the time or the confidence to pull apart my trim. Really interested though as I think it'd pair the amp I already have well. Would you be interested in doing the install for me for a fee. I'll ask around for some installer recommendations too but that's probably the only thing holding me back. Ta FT |

I did this myself too. Don't be put off by this. As like you, I wasn't very confident to do this myself. I've never pulled any trims off any car prior to this. but the videos make it so simple. just follow the steps. there's not much else to it. they key is to do everything at your own pace. don't rush anything and you'll be perfectly fine. Give yourself 5-6 hours and it'll be accomplished. The Bavsounds are a bloody great improvement by the way! |

Looks like its for Hifi (not base) to me - isn't the HK 14 speakers or so? Remember there are 3 levels, base, hifi and HK - all with varying quantities of speakers.
sj03 - did this come out of an F30 or E92? |

1 x Centre 2 x tweeters 2 x front doors 2 x rear doors 2 x sub This looks like it has more components? In the US they don't have base. They just have Standard and HK. Looking at pictures online, the sedan with premium hifi in US has: 1 x Centre 2 x tweeters (front) 2 x front door 2 x rear door 2 x sub 2 x rear parcel tray 2 x tweeters (rear) can anyone confirm? If the speakers are the same (and will fit my F31 fine) but I'll just have two tweeters and two rear parcel tray speakers left, i'll take the set. |

The system has come out of a 2010 E92 with a HK system. The 440i has more speakers again, which is why I had to purchase a new system. While the rear tweeters are a different sizes in the E9x & F3x systems, all the Mid-Range speakers & front tweeters are the same model. I just double checked this on the Bavsound website.
As far as I'm aware, the system I'm selling will fit all E9x & F3x models, however your stock OEM system will determine how many speakers can be installed. Feng - if you'd like, we could look at leaving the rear tweeters out of the price, as you won't need them if you have a HiFi spec system and I can utilise them elsewhere. Judging by the pictures, you have more than enough speakers to install in an F30 HiFi (you will have 2 more mids and 2 more tweeters than required). Stage one does not include the subs. You will have to purchase the BAV ghost subs (https://www.bavsound.com/BMW-Underse...oofer-Upgrades) or BWM focal subs (http://www.focalaustralia.com.au/pro...mpact-sub-379/) or whatever subwoofer set out there if you wish to upgrade the factory subs as well. |

i emailed Bavsound direct and they reckon it'll work. I got a reply from Jason Seaver (co-founder/product design and development).
The only comment he had was that it is missing the foam rings that seal the midrange drivers to the door panels? Not quite sure what he means but he said to watch the video so I'll do that. If the centre is compatible, then I may take you up on leaving the rear midrange/tweeters out as I wouldn't need those and then order the extra bits (spacer/foam if needed) from bavsound. |
