Hey guys, I'm interested in get this IC. I was wondering if anyone noticed any significant pressure drop using it? Struggling to hit the same peak boost while running the oem cooler?

If you are getting a flash tune then they can adjust for the increased volume of the IC. Any aftermarket IC you get will decrease pressure due to increased size of it, but this can be corrected. Just don't get this without having a tune, but that goes for any aftermarket IC, or really any aftermarket bolt-on

As for logs, I believe FSociety has some before and after data. I do not have any before data, but can get some after data when I cruise and autocross my car in a few weeks here in VA!
Thanks brandon!

That's good to hear and your logs look good. I'm just worried I fit an IC that has so much pressure loss that it out weighs the cooling benefits making the car overall slower.

I had a few issues at the 1/4 yesterday which I think could be heat/IAT related so looking to get an IC asap.

For sure FSociety Might need to plan a roadtrip if I'm already going north to NJ, find some cool tracks along the way and see how this big b***h handles on the apex

Pressure loss should not be significant enough on an IC of this size. Something like the ER FMIC with a stock turbo you may notice it.

If anyone was wondering the FMIC sale at CTS is still going on....$389.99. What I find strange is that the Sales dept at CTS told me the sale was ending over 3 weeks ago and is why I rushed to buy the intercooler at that time. As of today, the sale continues.....take advantage while you can

With this thread, i'm highly thinking of getting one of those for my car. The only part missing to be FBO. I was wondering if anyone already installed the CTS ic in a convertible f33 435. I dont know if anyone here can confirm that it will fit or convertible are different... I know on the website they wrote down F33/F30/F32..so will probably do!

How are you guys impress by the quality and specs? Is it worth it?

I recently installed a chargepipe in my car and since a chargepipe install requires all this IC stuff I updated my DIY guide.

I used zipties as suggested by harkes and used paper shims to hold the damn IC clip open. It made the whole process much much easier. Hope it helps!
