You need to listen to one of the "exotic" sex stations. Some of the people that call in sound like the creepiest and gross thing.

When they call this afternoon I'm going to hit them up for a low ball deal. I'd really like to get the service on my phone and computer though.

"Thank you Quincy from Canada, that was very interesting. Up next we have Philippe from Belgium... Go ahead, Philippe."

There's a radio?

Hits1 and KIIS for the kids, I like Classic Rewind, Classic Vinyl and Hair Nation. Occasional sports channels if there's a game or event.

We don't need Sirius for traffic information anymore right? That's the only thing I missed when I didn't re-up my subscription on my last BMW.

lol

I listened to one of the stations for a hour when driving to Richmond. The host is super interactive with the callers and for the most part it sounded like a lot of them were truck drivers.

There are so many stations it peaked my curiosity.

I also realized that I started to hate my commute when I would listen to the traffic station more than I did music

Glad I got some good responses--feel like you guys have opened up a door for me, a door that was already open. I've never even tried out the 80's on 8 and now even went for 90's on 9 and that p2k one. Tried out chill. My commute to work is 7 minutes and stores and gym are within ten minutes--so I don't have extended driving times to really hear a station too long. I try to do a longer than 20 minute trip once a week--I feel like this thread just made me want to listen to a bunch of other stuff. Thanks guys.

Yeah...it had some diversity to it. I only listened to a couple songs. It's like smooth techno and I do like techno for a bit. I have to give it more time--after reading this thread a gave a little time to some of the new stuff.

It's amazing how mood changing/enhancing different genres of music is--when I put the Joint on, it's just cruise time...and then octane, hair nation or Ozzy's boneyard and the boost shoots up. I'll have to go with chill and see how that affects my driving style.

Funny man, when I was typing in smooth, I had typed in smoos...was almost there. I thought, am I typing subliminally Smoosh? Maybe.

Bpm, Utopia, 80s, 90s, Lithium. But the audio quality is so bad compared to streaming it off the app or Prime music I may cancel soon.

Been listening to chill more--seems to be trance mixes of other songs. Also been scrolling on the 80's 90's and P2K. And still loving backspin....now I've went from about 5 goto stations to more than 10.

I don't have XM radio anymore but I always found myself listening to the comedy station.

I listen to the Jazz stations and sometimes the comedy stations. I did listen to Utopia until they pulled it off channel 55 and moved it up to channel 341 which I can't get with the radio in my car. I'm not sure if any BMW has the ability to pull in those higher channels. I'm due for renewal next month and I will NOT be renewing. Even at the reduced pricing talked about in this thread. If you go on the Facebook page for Utopia, you'll find others jumping ship because of the boneheaded move SiriusXM did. Their excuse to us is the programming that was on Utopia was merged with Studio 54 or we could run the SiriusXM app to get the programming. No thanks.

My wife however said she can't "live" without sat radio in her car. I told her when I call to renegotiate the renewal and don't get the reduced pricing, I will not be renewing it for her. We'll see what happens in the next few days as her subscription is due for renewal in a few days.

As far as traffic, can't get any better than running Waze on my smart phone and having the video output projected into my car's nav screen. So I don't care if I get traffic info over the FM radio or through satellite.

Octane 80% - Lithium 10% - and I'm one of the lucky ones that has Turbo through the stock system. (So Turbo takeover days sucking for me )

I used to be a huge Alt Nation fan...loved Madison too. That damn Vampire Weekend band killed that channel for me and I never went back.
