As we have a heat wave coming next week I might tackle cleaning up the rusty brake disc's, I want the matt silver look & was wondering if this is ok to use...

Be OK temp wise - details claim it is gloss finish though, not matte...

Here in U.S. i always use VHT Caliper Paint which is formulated with Ceramic & made just for calipers/rotors - don't know if that is available in UK?

I thought VHT was better off baked to get the hardness?

It does bake essentially when you start using the brakes & they heat up - the temp req'd to cure is not that hi. Parts are dry to the touch not long after painting

You can, of course bake them yourself in an oven (my wife would not appreciate this

) but I never have in my use of this product over the 41 yrs I've been driving
