Just a heads up for iOS 8 iPhone users who have jailbroken phones.

There's a new tweak called BMWNotifier available which is supposed to bring back email notifications to iDrive that's been broken since iOS 7.

I literally just installed it so havent tested it yet, but wanted to get the word out. I know there's a lot of us who want this ability back....

There's now a paid $1.99 tweak from the same developer called BimmerNotifierPro which sends *ALL* new iPhone notifications to iDrive screen, and not just emails.

As before, all notifications show up as Office>Messages>TXT Messages.

BMWNOtifier was making my phone crash when I would play any instagram video or podcast music and raise or lower the volume from the phone itself my switchboard would respring.
I went to Cydia and coincidently I clicked on changes and saw BimmerNotifierPro and removed the BmwNotifier when installing this one that was fixed

It's stated in the tweak description to remove the basic version of the app before installing the Pro version

Can you get email notifications on the phone....forget iDrive at first. And how are you testing this?

Do you need to have the Office option available before trying this? I only see Contacts, not Office.
