Nice indeed! One option I regret not getting was the M Performance brakes. It was only a $650 option. To add the brakes now will be close to $2K! I have no idea why the $650 option has to be factory installed. Its just a bolt on.

Can you tell me more about the custom exhaust you are planning? I am thinking about fitting the M Performance Exhaust to my 428i.

@tboooe: Thanks ;-). Yes to add the MSport Brakes now is very expensive. But keep looking on e-bay, maybe somebody tries fitting BBK's and sell the MSport Brakes.

About the Custom Made Exhaust System, it is a direct bolt on system. It is made for the 420I/428I and will be fitted with 90mm endtips so the diffuser doesn't need cutting or anything else. Exhaustsystem will be tailormade for the 435I Diffuser.
Sound will be less then M Performance, cause I don't want it loud and no droning in cabin. Car is driven private and also for work. I will receive the exhaust system in the 1st week of January. If you like I can send you pictures.

After fitting the exhaust system, car is also going to be tuned to 260hp and 420Nm.

Yes please post pics of the exhaust. Will it be available for purchase? I want the dual exhaust outlets of the M Performance unit so I will be getting the 435 rear diffuser.

Congrats from a fellow Dutchie! Good to see another Estoril on the Dutch roads. Mine gets delivered coming Friday.

Regarding the brakes; I believe there's a difference between the "M brakes" coming from the factory, and the "M Performance brakes" available as a bolt-on accessory. The M Performance brakes have larger calipers, at least when looking at photos. I opted for the factory ones, mostly for the matching Estoril color :-)

Alcantara Interior is not available in the US?

That's weird, I like it more then the leather interior, because of the color.

@SergeR: Thank you for the compliments, don't forget to post some pics.

What I have heard from the dealer here, the only difference between the M Sport factory option and the M Performance Retrofit Kit is that the calipers have a different color scheme and the discs are dimpled/slotted. Only on the x35i versions the front discs are larger.

Ah ok, thanks for the clarification and the link. Weird that the price difference is so large!

Who's your dealer? My dealer's fine, but not very educated on the M Performance line-up.

@SergeR: I am a person who finds its own way through parts and then tell the dealer what I want. So the dealer also learns from me.

I have a small in house parts Shop, so I do my home work also For customers ;-)

Dealers dont have much experience and information about M Performance Parts.

And Yes as a retrofit kit it is a lot of money compared to the factory option price.

Which model/type do have ordered?

Regards

That learning part sounds familiar :-)
Doesn't matter much, but it would be nice to have had a brochure or something. The forum has been very helpful though.

I've ordered an F32 435i in Estoril. Added the Akrapovič exhaust, M Performance interior, black grille and full tinted windows. Can't wait!

The M Performance interior adds alcantara and carbon, looks great!
Should be the default, is my opinion.
