Anyone else had their front bumper drilled like this?

Got hold of another number only to find out the number plate mount was screwed in with self tappers. As you can see looks rather crude and the other side you see 6 or so bulge marks. I know it’s covered by the mount but stuff like this just annoys me... others have the same?

That's just how they're attached, how else could they do it?

I would have just used double sided tape so as not to damage and deform the bumper.

Garage List
It’s just a quick and easy way to attach the bits. Requires minimal skill and kit.

Tape can come unstuck, screws can’t. The screw holes will never matter as the car will always have a number plate there anyway.

I remember cruing on the M1 near Nottingham in an Aldi S5 and the front number plate flew off into the air !

It did not hit anyone

I did not go and get it back but called in to the dealer on way home and they replaced if FOC as it was only 1 month old.

Bring on the screws ! if I remember correctly in France you have to have them screwed and also should be anti tamper. I put some on an old car and just drilled out the middle.
