Will 335i Injen Intake Fit 435i??

Hello peeps,

I tried to search thoroughly, but couldn't find too much info, I couldn't find many members with a 435i who had an intake besides aFe or BMS

Would a 2013 F30 335i Injen short ram intake fit my F32 435i? I heard certain components like the exhaust are interchangeable, so how bout this one?

It should be compatible.
I would check with injen before making a purchase though

Apparently Injen just hasn't test fitted it on a 4 series (upon contacting them), but from what others say, it should fit since BMW doesn't really tweak anything

It's questionable...at least without some "rigging."

I'm not sure if it's strictly limited to the 4-Series, or 2014 N55s in general, but there are some wires/electronics with a plastic cover right along the driver's side strut-tower. Notice it in the pic below, just above the filter of BMS's 435i:

Another member here mentioned having to "rig" this plastic cover to fit the heat-shield on an Injen install on his 2014. "Rigging" likely entails hacking it up with a Dremel or saw which will most likely result in making it look like utter shit, or just leaving it off entirely. Personally, I'm not one who mods my cars in this manner.

If you notice in this pic below, courtesy of member Jesse@MBRP, on the install of the same intake on a 2014 335i, the heat-sheild would interfere with the placement of the plastic cover. Either he removed the cover altogether and made no mention of it, or through some random combination of options his car may or may not have, the car never came with such a cover depending on what the electronics are right underneath that cover.
