Bavsound Stage 1

Just upgraded the Hi-Fi speakers to Bavsound Stage 1. Got it installed locally at BMR Autowerkes, thanks to Stuart

The install took roughly 2.5 hrs to complete, swapped out the speaker grills & tweeter trim whilst at it.

Yes, just waiting on Bavsound to release the underseat subs or maybe Stage 2 of their sound kit.

I have had Focal installed on e90 and the sound quality was excellent. Haven't heard Bavsound before. I'm considering an upgrade, have few options either Focal, MTX or Bavsound.
Focal has underseat subs but it's 3.6 ohms, the underseat subs is 2 ohms I think, so might need an amp.
MTX has a full set (twitter, mid and underseat subs)

Just ordered my bsw stage 1 today for the F30 328i hifi system. I also ordered the bimmertech amp/dsp to replace the stock one.

I am in Sydney as well. can you share how much they charge you for the work?

Initially after installing I couldn't tell the difference between Hi-Fi & BSW. After a week & tweaking audio settings, it was noticeably louder & had better voice clarity.

Overall it's definitely better and louder but I wonder how it compares to the HK setup.

My BSW kit is arriving soon as well. Could you please advise where did you buy the speaker grill and twitter trim? They looks really nice.

BTW, i like your build, she is really really beautiful. where did you get twin exhaust? was it a full replacement including the downpipe or just the muffler?

Congratulations, the BSW kit is awesome, sounds better after the break in. The HK trim I purchased from FCPEuro, it compliments the new speakers very well not to mention it increase the cabin quality up one notch.

Thanks, it's slow getting there. I ordered the exhaust & center pipe through BMRAutowerkes who ordered it from Supersprint in Mantova, Italy. It's not quite a full exhaust yet but I will definitely order the downpipe & front pipe to finish it off. The finish & welds on the Supersprint are superb

I had a base system and upgraded to bavsound. Is it normal that the fromt tweeters in the door sound much clearer and better than the ones in the rear deck? They have been broken in for about 2 months
