Powder coating Shop Recommendation in Toronto

So I recently purchased a second set of OEM-style rims for my F30 that I plan to use for a winter setup. The wheels came off of a diesel F30 328.

I was wondering if anyone had an recommendations for places to take the wheels to get power coated in the GTA? I would like to get them finished in a gunmetal colour which would add a really nice compliment with the white exterior.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Pretty old thread I found via search. Any newer recommendations? Thinking about powder coating my OEM 397s for winter. Thanks!

Carcones in Aurora would be a premium shop to consider. They refinish my rims when in need and they honestly come back flawless.

Thanks Guys.
Art in Motion is closer to me so I called them. $550 for the powder coating the 4 rims. No clue if that's a good price or not, any thoughts?

Garage List
I wouldn't pay $550 for powder coating 4 wheels. For perspective, my set of 18x8.5 winter wheels cost me $600+tax

Reasonable for upmarket wheels maybe. Many winter reps can be had for the same price, and even purchased in the desired colour.

If you're looking to rock tangerine orange for the winter, that changes the equation

I'm a little impulsive when it comes to things like this and already dropped them off at Art in Motion yesterday. They talked me into Satin Black as opposed to the Matte black I wanted. Guy swears it'll look better, especially in the winter. I guess we'll see

Satin black vs matte black is pretty well the same, maybe a tiny difference if at all in appearance

Hey F30inthe6ix, I recently got my 416 rims powder coated to glossy black and the rims curb rash repaired for $100 a rim at Masters Tire in Brampton, they guys name is Deep. They did a bang up job for the price. Dismounted the runflats and then put them back on and installed them on the F30. Worth checking them out.

Sounds like he has a good reputation. He doesn't handle tires though, just rims. You have to remove/mount tires elsewhere.

That sounds quite reasonable. I'll have to look into them myself.

Thanks for sharing!
