In the grand scheme of things, that seems to be the priority these days.

Out of all the 3rd party tunes out there, I'd go with Dinan first, Cobb second. I don't feel comfortable using any other ones.

With the relatively new DinanCare extended warranty program, I wonder how sentiments change about being hesitant to get a dinan tune. With a DinanCare plan you effectively will land up with three (+1) options (though not necessarily all at the same time):
1. BMW repairs the car 2. Failing which Dinan repairs the car as a part of their standard warranty. 3. Failing which DinanCare would pick the bill. 4. Failing which you pay the bill (how likely is it that you arrive at this 4th step ? ) Has anyone ever purchased Dinancare and have any feedback on this plan? EDIT: Here is a thread that has some decent info on this (including contract details): http://www.m5board.com/vbulletin/e60...ns-here-4.html Last edited by rallybull; 03-18-2013 at 10:49 PM.. |

Seems that Dinan is on the track for a very close release of F30 components. Found this on an internet search, though it's not directly linkable on their website:

It is available via their website. And just because they have that link does not verify that they are any closer to completing their tune. They also have categories for F80/2/3 and F22 M235i. I believe their webmaster jumped the gun and added all categories for current and planned/future projects.
