Scheduled to arrive at the port in New Jersey on April 7th. Given the schedule it sounds like it's skipping any stops in Germany. I was losing faith on seeing the car in April but now it sounds like it will be here within the second week of April!!!

So far my timeline has been as follows:

Feb 5th - Order placed
About 2 weeks to Prod Completion
About 1 week to get to in transit to port of exit, 1 day to port
Sat at the port from Feb26th-March 22 (So painful)
ETA to Port in New Jersey is April 7th

My final destination is Keeler BMW in upstate NY so I'd guess/hope 3-5 days once the car lands state-side.

Seems there's a big delay between when the shipping company updates BMW. That ship left on March 7th so really you were only in port for a week and a half. No chance I made it on that boat since I arrived to port on the 7th.

There's a boat that departed on the 18th so hopefully I made it onto that one.

Good luck to you!

Not to be ungrateful, but offering a new vehicle tracking system where the buyer and BMW are blind for maybe 50% of the process makes for a frustrating end-user experience. BMW couldn't tell me shipping schedules while my car was at port, they couldn't tell me how long it might sit for, they couldn't tell me roughly how long the transport is once it hit sea, they couldn't tell me what ship it MIGHT get on. As the buyer, being in the dark for over 3 weeks on when the car will make its next move is simply excruciating. Unless the vessel sinks at sea, the rest of my journey is fairly laid out as I understand it.

Keep us posted man!

I know, the fact that they can't tell what ship your on until 2 weeks after is set sail is just unacceptable. I'm sure that their tracking is better than the compensation though.

I'm fairly certain it would be easier to track a package to space than it is to track my car..

Torrens has docked in Baltimore. Hoping you have a tail wind making the trip to the west coast.

Now I just need a fast freight hauler....

These damn ship names... Apparently 24 hours after BMW gave me the ship name I forgot it... I actually am not on Liberty Ace, but Crystal Ace. I've been tracking the wrong ship for the last week or so and got a bit worried when I checked the ship's schedules and none of the dates lined up. Looks to be a RoRo ship. Scheduled for delivery to NEAT port in NJ for 4/7 @ 1200.

My car was dropped off for delivery (did ED) on 4/8... emailed yesterday (ten days later as instructed) and was told that the car will be loaded onto the Toreador (currently in port in Bremerhaven) and shipped tomorrow, 4/19. ETA in Elizabeth, NJ is 5/4. Can't wait!

Newbie question here: I typed my production number to the add vehicle page inside "my BMW" (I couldn't find the BMW owner page), it shows the vehicle being added to my account but there is no option to track it (only option is to activate BMW finance service). Am I at the wrong place? Thanks for any help.

I had the same problem when I ordered. Solution was calling BMWNA and having the rep I spoke to do something on his end.

Anyone know how to find out when it clears customs, and when it arrives at VPC/clears VPC?
Gave my car back to BMW at MUC on the 22nd of Sept. Didn't get on the ship till the 4th. Was suppose to be at the Port of NY/NJ on the 19th but didn't get in till today (20th).
That little blurb about 'times are estimates' holds true! lol

But now, I wait.
Interestingly enough, my BMW Connect App is now stating that GPS Positioning is Deactivated. So no way to track~
I'm actually 20 miles from my car. Live in NJ. Hoping that once she clears VPC, I'll have her 24hrs later. (A guy can dream)

;(
Always

I have a 340 scheduled to complete production on 3/10/17 in Germany and bound for the West Coast (US). Anyone else in a similar situation so we can track :-)
