I believe so... but let someone else confirm!
I can't wait to get my car back to verify this, but I thought i felt some hill hold during my trip.

It does. It's a little more grabby than the hill hold in my old 1.
It definitely works though unlike my wife's GTI which never works and her old WRX which only worked sometimes. |

Yes it does. I just checked the website. They call it "Start-Off Assistant."

Thanks. I'm driving a 2011 X3 so I'm a bit lazy now. I had a 2011 base A4 that did not have hill holder and I missed it. I'm going to my dealer team drive event June 19th to take part and order 328i sport 6MT.

Nice! Have fun! The voucher comes a couple days after to your email. Not sure when you can apply it however.

I always wondered how that works in MT cars, so if you're on N it kicks in and holds the car?

Anytime it detects you are on an incline, it holds the breaks for a few seconds after you take the foot off of the brake, giving you time to give it some gas before sliding backwards if you are a bit inexperienced with a MT. Regardless of what gear you are in.

A little off topic here, but why would that feature be available for AT I mean if you're in D then the car can't go backwards, right?
