Im in ontario looking to pick up a b58 340i 6 speed manual. Looking for advice on overall reliability of the car and what maintenance I should be prepared to pay for. I was looking at a 2016 with 75k kms on it. Should I be worried about anything in particular?

The B58 engine is pretty reliable compared to other BMW engines. At 46k I would change out spark plugs and ignition coils (if they haven't been) as a preventative, especially if the car was tuned before or if you plan on tuning in the future. I believe 60k is the recommended in these but I have been told cut that in half for tuned vehicles. I also do oil changes every 5-6k instead of the recommended 10k intervals. Make sure service records look good too. To be honest my 340i has been much cheaper to maintain than my previous 435i and Infiniti G37, and I've had this car longer than the other two.
