Getting my F30 detailed for the first time - Wolf's Chemicals Body Wrap?

My F30 is 5 months old and I'm bringing it to the detailing shop to give it a winter preparation (cleaning/washing, paint decontamination, clay bar and waxing).

I've read a lot here about the benefits of getting the car treated with Optimum Opticoat. So I'm also strongly considering getting this done as well, but the shop told me that instead of Opticoat they use an alternative product called Wolf's Chemicals Body Wrap.

My question is should I go ahead with the Wolf's Body Wrap instead of the Opticoat? Any thoughts or recommendations?

I personally prefer 22ple VX1 Pro Glass Coating

VX1 Pro will leave behind a hardened high silica-content glass barrier between your paint and harmful environmental elements. The protection is strong but also extremely durable making it far superior to traditional waxes and sealants. While sealants and waxes provide you with up to 6 months of protection, you can expect a whopping 18-24 months with VX1 Pro.

Here is an excellent article on the product.

Interesting article, thanks. There are definitely many quality options to choose from out there.

In my case I'm leaning more towards the Opti-Coat vs. the Body Wrap. Both are excellent products. What I like about the OC is that it will be longer lasting. Also, up until now I've been washing my car using Optimum No Rinse, which is a fantastic product. Really like the fact that I'll have no problem using ONR after the opti-coat application. I'm also hoping that cleaning my F30 will be a lot easier after the opti-coat.

they all look great.

the wolf's body wrap will definitely not last as long as opti coat.

I would say in terms of durability it will be

1st - Opti
2nd - 22ple
3rd - Body Wrap

In terms of looks I would say

tie - 22ple and Body Wrap
2nd - Opti
(my opinion)

that being said we have applied a ton of opti coat and all of our customers are loving it.

here are some photos

This,
I chose opticoat due to the care-free maintenance and decent looks
