Question 320i M Sport?

After learning that the engines are the same between the 28i and the 20i I want to order the 320i with M sport and do the ecu tune saving me about 6k between the two cars. Going on bmwusa it doesn't allow me to choose the "lines" for the m sport just under the packages page the regular sport package? is the m sport not on the 320i?

The M Sport line/package is not available on the 320i. Instead, you can opt for the Sport Package (larger wheels, lower/stiffer suspension, sport seats, M Sport wheel and shift knob). Big difference is the wheel style and the lack of the M Sport's unique body work.

I have a 320i with the sport package and its a great car.

Exactly, I got my 320i with the sports package and it is perfect for me. The wheels are also staggered. The front tires are a 225 and the rear are a 255.

the body panels from the 328 m sport should fit onto the 320i correct? same with wheels?

The difference between the packages to my knowledge is the brakes and suspension being the big changes

The main body panels are the same between the cars. The bumpers and (I think) rockers from the M Sport (which are different) should bolt up to the 320i.

Brakes are the same between the 320i, 328i Sport, and 328i M Sport unless you opt for the M Sport brakes on the latter. Suspension is the same between all three (assuming you're going for a RWD car and not AWD)

Really? I thought the rotors on the 320i were smaller?

Everything I've seen, at least in the US market, indicates that they're the same.

I wish I could have gotten the sport package on mine; wasn't willing to wait after getting hosed on another car I had waited 3 months for and just took what was on the lot.

Maybe next time...

I was under the impression that on the 320i, the Sport Package is the M sport package minus the bodywork....
