Post Time to change my OEM 17" tires!

I'm at 32,000 miles and it's time to change my OEM ContiProContact run flats (225/50-17) to something else.

I've been pondering...
1. Buying another set of the ContiProContacts from TireRack.
2. Trying the Pirelli Cinturato P7 All Season Run Flat (cheaper, which is a plus)
3. Trying the Michelin Primacy MXM4 ZP
4. Other... (your feedback)

Anybody have any feedback or experience with 17" tires? I'm not an enthusiast, so I'm really more concerned about road noise and longevity. I had the Conti DWS on my Volkswagen CC, but I'd ideally like to stay with run flats because of the spare tire situation.

Garage List
I had the P7's on 18's (225/45/18)

I took them off the car at 4k miles b/c I wanted a summer performance tire with a wider tread and no run-flat (switched to Bridgestone RE-11A's 245/40/18)

With nothing else to compare them to, and I read you don't care about cornering grip etc, the larger bridgestone's were quieter than the P7's. The P7's had a higher-pitched noise that seemed to make it's way into the cabin more, or maybe just didn't blend into the background wind-noise as much as the RE-11's did.

Can't compare apples to apples on any of your other choices

I had the conti's various versions on my last 3 series and never had complaints. And have the Michelins on my MDX and they've lasted quite a long time. (55k miles)

Edit: if you're willing to go non-run-flat and carry a spare, or a mobility kit, do it. You won't regret it. The ride is SOO much better when you ditch the run-flats

Best tire is pilot sport, anything else is because you're on a budget
