The car is stock 300hp at the crank. The numbers stated in this thread are at the wheels. For example, bone stock my car puts down 278hp to the wheels. Its losing about 22hp through the drivetrain.

Did u get ur numbers mixed up?
and Dinan comes out in november from what i heard i dunno if i should wait until dinan or opt for Hartge tune.
For those who have the m performance kit. Is the remapping, extra sensitivity on the pedal, and new intake worth the tag? like it does make car accelerated 0.2 seconds then usual. But taking that into consideration lets say i install the mmpk and then the hartge. Would all the remapping, throttle change, and the exhaust burble would it all stayed after the Hartge is installed? Cause i would like all of those things but it would be pointless to installed hartge if it will override everything you paid for the Mppk
I have the Hartge on top of the MPPK. the difference betjene the two are very noticeable.
The good features of the MPPK are intact when switching to the Hartge. further you Can adjust it a bit
I'll have Both measured soon as I'm Addding an Akrapovic + fmic an airfilter

Gotcha.
Makes sense now.

I Definitely feel the difference between the two. Hartge add's much more punch.
Whether or not it's worth it.. It's the best piggy around. AC Schnitzer and Manhardt Racing won't mount there piggy on top of MPPK, so this kind of sets a limit. And JB is not an option for me.
I'll let you know about the difference between Hartge and MPPK when my Akrapovic and Wagner FMIC comes,- I'm still waiting.
At last dyno session the Hartge was about 30 horses above MPPK
Will keep you posted...
BUT when the ECU is broken I'll for sure mount a bigger turbo and get thinks done the right way :-D

I have the MPPK and also BMS JB4 with full bolt ons installed. I got the MPPK because I thought it would be fast enough, but it didn't really do it for me.

The JB4 and MPPK can coexist and it will give you the burbles of the MPPK and the additional power of the JB4 but it isn't going to give you anymore power than you would have with just the piggy back tunes.

I can't imagine my car without the burbles and the other features of the MPPK
And I wonder if any tuner will be able to copy this function when the ECU is broken i.e. reason enough to have the MPPK, even though it's a lot of money..

Dinan still provides its parallel warranty, just as Schnitzer and some of the other Euro tuners - which are all higher-priced due to that additional offering. Dinan Stage 2 looks pretty good, and I've had their Stage 3 in an E92 335i, which was pretty stout, although it required more oil cooling and intercooling than stock. I'm really tempted by this new S2 piggyback, but the closest dealer that sells them is 3 hours away. I could install it myself, but if the dealership does it, there's no questions about whether it's properly installed, which could come back to haunt you if you have issues later on. If you want that extra assurance that your tune won't cause you grief when you have an electrical or engine problem, it's probably worth it. If you don't care about that, then it may not be worth the extra cost - but as they say, you don't get what you don't pay for.
