Coding Sport Display on HU_ENTRY?

I found where you can turn on the sport display, was able to get it to show up on the screen but it didn't do anything after that. Is there anything else I need to code to get the full display? I just has the base iDrive with office.

Only works with Pro Nav.

You can actually code them to show on the older head units but they don't move.

Gimmicky waste of time anyway so I wouldn't lose any sleep over it!

That's what I figured, I got the gauges to show up but they didn't move, so I just coded it back

That isnt correct. HU EntryNav can be coded for sports Display. Old Business Champ2 couldn´t

If you have Sport Mode

NBT > EFF_DYN_SPORT_CID > aktiv
NBT > EFF_DYN_SPORT_UNIT > aktiv

Works with Diesel and Gasoline Engine 2014 and onwards

Sport displays do work on the HU_CHAMP2 I have them activated on my 2012 320d

I've done that two changes below but got only the gauges and they don't move.

EFF_DYN_SPORT_CID > aktiv

I did exactly as you have done but I suspect there may be additional coding done of associated modules (FEM and KOMBI) that send the signal to the CHAMP2_HU or ENTRY_HU for the gauges to move when all the vehicle ECU's are VO coded at the factory I was thinking maybe 2TB or 7AC? PM me your chassis # and I can compare my FA against yours using bmwvindecoder.com

I am pretty sure it's the engine that sends the singnals to Champ2.

The difference to my car is: your car is a 320d (TYPE: 3D36) my car is a 318d, (3K11). Your car has a 2TB, my car a 205 Gearbox. Both have have SA 7AC (Sport Line)

But the fact that your car is from 2012 and my from 2013-09 makes me believe that the smaller 318d engine is the main problem, which is not sending the signals which are needed for the Champ2 ECU. Nevertheless, I will try to VO Code SA-2TB, but I gess flashing the DDE to a newer I-Step would be the more promising way to go.

Tried coding my early 2014 330d business Nav with Carly and the display is there but it doesn't work, any way I can get this to work?

Coded the live tyre temps too but yet again they don't work!

Strange, as i've got a 316d sports and it works fine. i dont think the size of the engine has anything to do with it.

In Vehicle Settings, change the unit under the power option. There's a few units you can change here like Miles to Km etc...

I think, if possible, it needs an extra signal from KOMBI maybe.
Maybe if SPA_SPORT_ENABLE set to activ?
Cant find anything else in KOMBI for EFF, DYN, SPORT, CID or UNIT..

U need nbt, mine didn't work with entry, upgraded to nbt n works perfect.

Speaking from experience it wount Work. Installed nbt n they work fine. Not possible with entry. Trust me.

I personally have NBT I was just coding a friends car who as entry... this is why you don't cheap out earlier
