Found a brand new M performance exhaust with chrome tips for $1000. Its for F30 335i. Should i buy it ?

I don't know....should you? If you want it buy it! IMO upgrading your exhaust is a must.

I want to upgrade the exhaust but confused if MPE is good.
Been getting mixed reviews some like it some say its too quite.
How about the price though? Is this a good price for MPE ?

1k+tax or 1k tax included? The MPE is around $980 with BMWTN's 20% discount and the tips are around $280/pair, still have to add taxes for both. Does it comes with the clamp and actuator? These parts are included whenever you buy new, might not seem like much but they're expensive, the clamp alone is $100.

Should you get it all depends on you, everyone is different in how they want their car to sound and their taste for sound differs. Have you heard a broken in MPE in person on a car with similar mods you may have or plan to install? You need to find what you like not what others say or you may regret your decision. Videos help but you need to hear it in person, it just doesn't sound the same and the equipment used to record varies.

1 k plus tax, the whole thing include tips and clamps. So that comes to $1113.
I don't want anything crazy loud just looking for something better and maybe a little louder than stock.

From the sounds of it, you won't regret it.

It's a $300+ savings over TN discount and unless you find a used one in Canada, it would be quite a bit more expensive. If you consider the used ones go for $700 usd + $150~ shipping from the states, it cost around $1090 CDN and don't forget you may get dinged by customs/brokerage charges.

I paid $800 for my 340/440 MPE, like new condition. Less than 8k on it. If your patient you'll get a deal.

My absolute favourite exhaust, I don't think I'll ever change it.

BMW just quoted me $1550 for the exhaust then $820 for carbon fibre tips. Plus tax plus install. Brand new for 1k sounds like a pretty good deal to me. Where are you getting it from?

Just to clarify it was 1130. I did the calculation wrong for taxes. I went with chrome tips, they also have carbon fibre one for somewhere around 1390 plus taxes.

Also they have mppsk for B58 on about 40% discount. Maybe they are just trying to clear their stock.

Just got off the phone with BMW town and country. Asked if they can ship. Said they normally dont and asked if someone can ship it for me. Any idea on how I can arrange this ?? Anyone willing to ship for me ? I think greyhound is usually the best. Tried calling another BMW dealer here in BC. Brian Jessel. They quoted me $1,998 for exhaust, clamp and chrome tips plus tax I think. Said there is now way they would price match that.

I just got mine installed yesterday. Went all out and got the carbon tips and I'm glad i did. The staff over at T&C was so easy going because I had the box shipped all the way to BC through Canada Post. As for the exhaust, it definitely needs to be broken in to get louder but as of right now it sounds waaaay sportier. It's louder outside and not that big of a difference inside, which I like because I don't want the drone. The carbon fiber tips look amazing and recommend them over the chrome... I'm just worried that someone can easily unscrew them and steal them now.

Which part number did you get? There's two and one of them won't be as aggressive sounding as the other. The "340" serial is the one you want.

As far as I know the invoice states I did get the one ending in serial 340, but you got me curious now. I will check the actual exhaust when I get home to make sure.
