Look up the Obsessed Garage page on FB, tons of people using waterless washes during the winter months. My GF bought me some to use, so I'm gonna try it out when we get back from our trip.

That was the deal with my wife when we were building, my garage is 26x30 with a big heater...I can hand wash, dry, detail, whatever I want to do year round.

Do you have water access in the garage?

Hi, I'm a newly joined member and very interested in this topic. I tried EcoSmart RU waterless wash on my car in a frigid garbage last night. The product fought mightily but was no match for the Chicago salt mines -aka- roads this time of year. It did work well really well last week when the car wasn't as salty and the temp wasn't as low.

I guess you have to find a touchless car wash? I don't have one around my area so I'm going to try one of those car washes where you just wash it yourself.

ONR is your friend come winter time. Depending on how dirty the car is, I normally use one of the DIY spray car washes first, then give the whole car a quick wipe down with ONR in the garage to remove that final layer of dirt. That said, it's now well below freezing here in the northeast so a garage wash with ONR might be the only option.

Here's mine on the Central Coast of California. A bit dusty so sorry for the dirty picture. Been having dust outside and a lot of sunshine during this horrible winter. Feel thankful you don't have to put up with all this...

I'm not in the Northeast no more and yes I miss it sometimes, moved to Austin this past summer, but I always took mines to a hand car wash, whether its 10 degrees outside and the snow melting. After the car wash, I would finish it at home really good in the garage with some spray wax only if the roads are clean from the salt and slush, but if they are not its just car wash.
