Rear View Camera

Is it possible to install a 3rd party backup camera to your F30 and have it integrate with the Nav Screen? Does anyone know if the car is pre-wired to add a camera? How about the part number for the BMW camera?

Thanks!

Good luck, BMW's are not user friendly with aftermarket electrical components.

This link has info you might find useful.

Let us know if you find out more info.

Also, the OEM version from bimmertech apparently requires the parking distance control for the front at a minimum. Patryk at bimmertech says he can retro the PDC.

Thanks, much appreciated! Going to chat with Bimmertech. I did not get the PDC option with my 335i, so not sure if it can be installed.

PDC rear is required. Patryk seems to be willing to allow someone with no PDC to try to install.

I think the issue is with Nav coding for cars with no PDC. Check with Patryk.
