Not a big deal. car was in for 3 days. Since they had to reprogram the car i decided to retrofit Sirius Sat. Radio. They only charged me for the Sat. radio license and not the programming. It worked out good in the end.

Had the same problem. They had to replace my FEM and reprogram. Mine took about a week because it had just come out. Hopefully yours will take less time seeing as how they are aware of the issue.

FEM - search it if you're unaware of the problem... there's a big long thread about it.

Just look forward to the day your wipers go mental and - if you're as lucky as me - the car refuses to move anymore!

They are aware of the issue it seems so turnarounds might start to speed up!

Today my f30's wipers just started acting up as well, here are my symptoms:

1) Auto rain sensor always thinks its raining steadily out, and is always on.
2) The wipers will not return to the default position, if you turn auto off, or press down and release, the wipers will stop wherever they are at that time, you have to hold down until it is back to the default position at the bottom and then release it, timing it just right.

I have a oil change coming up anyways, will be sure to get this looked at.

Are these symptoms similar to what you all are seeing?

Cheers!
