You can't get M Performance parts installed at the factory, all of them are dealer installed.
The M Performance will not be as low as the H&R Sport Springs.

- M Performance lowers 20mm.
- H&R Sport Springs lowers about 38mm. (I got it measured when I got my alignment at the BMW Service Center)

NOTE: This is on a 335i. The 328i won't lower as much on the front.

Hmm, that is 8mm more than H&R claim. So maybe if M Performance delivers 8mm more too...

Both the 335 and 328 should be the same height, there are two different spring rates for the front springs to make sure of that. You just have to order the right one for your car. Maybe you ordered the springs for the 328?

Seriously, where did you get the information about H&R making different spring rates?

Here is a screen capture of the specs from H&R's own website. The spring is the same for both the 328i and 335i. There are no different spring rates. And it says the Sport Springs lower the front 1.5inches. Last time I checked, 1.5inches = 38.1millimeters... which is pretty spot on with what I got.

There are two different spring rates available, just to accomodate this. I don't know why H&R USA doesn't show this. The screen shot below is from the international site (we have the same info in Sweden and the German site). The US site only shows the 335 spring rate, that is why the 328 isn't as low as the 335 for the ones using that spring.

IMO - 20mm drop w/ 12mm spacers to push the rims out relatively flush w/ the fender... and you have the car at a perfect visual stance that still looks stock. I think most are not looking for a "tuner" look, but a sporty/aggresive, asthetically pleasing look. I think the above setup accomplishes that.

I think so ... I'm 99.9% sure.

I have definitely made the decision that mineral grey does not stand out in this version of the F30. Mineral grey in luxury looks good (as there are chrome pieces that compliment it well). In Sport + M Sport, the grey + black washes the car out. I am also feeling the same way about Black ... however that is the only other colour I would potentially consider (assuming there are new pics of the M Sport that sway me that way).

As of right now ... Alpine White it is ... simply gorgeous!!! Have 2 weeks to finalize my colour choice for a Sept 1 build.

This is a most intriguing post. Why would H&R only offer the 335i springs in the USA when a disproportionate amount of F30s is a 328i? Not that I'm complaining since I have a 335i, but this willy wonka in terms of sense. Thanks for enlightening me though.

So If you have a heated steering wheel, and want to get the m performance wheel, does it also have the heating elements in it? I wouldnt want to lose this option.

Whats the cheapest place to buy an m performance exhaust for the f30 335i, and is it a direct bolt in replacement? Or is welding required?

Has anyone seen those floor mats (the gray-ish Mperformance ones) available on any sites?
